Events on Daily All Day
Headquarters has been moved back up to the main grounds - Open everyday for registration of equipment/exhibits and information for anyone needing assistance. Registration and insurance for ALL machinery and exhibits. Pick up your participation plaque, or plaques from previous years, as well as registration and parade cards. The ladies will provide assistance and information to anyone needing it.
Membership - Angela Longhurst will be available for membership renewals and new membership applications for anyone wishing to join the club. Angela will be located at Headquarters. Membership registration, renewals, and new memberships.
Olde Tyme Store - Come and find that part for your antique car, tractor, gas or steam engine. Loonie Draw held inside (for just a loonie, come try your luck, spin the wheel and receive that prize on the wheel).
Loonie Draws - Daily draws, as well as a Junior one, located inside the Old Tyme Store building and it will only cost a loonie, for a great opportunity to win a prize.
Souvenir Booth - Open every day, with lots of Club t-shirts, sweat shirts, travel mugs, caps, hats, pins, and many other items available for purchase.
Wagon Rides - Horse drawn or Tractor (people mover).
Sawmill - Powered by a steam engine; come see how it was done way back when, and watch how huge logs are sawed into custom sized lumber.
Craft Tent - Come see the Club Archive Books, our Memorial Table, as well as lots of interesting displays, crafts, homemade treasurers to purchase.
Children Activities - Fun activities for the young people. Kids can have fun at their own tractor pull using a pedal tractor. Open to ALL children (near the souvenir booth)
Kiddie's Pedal Tractor Pull - Approx. 1:00 p.m. daily, located near the souvenir booth.
Vendors/Displays - Variety of both outdoor and indoor vendors on the grounds. You may just find the unique item for someone's birthday or Christmas present. Food vendors for meals, snacks & drinks. Outdoor vendors selling old & new, flea market in the barn, model displays, crafts, etc.
Agricultural Demonstrations/Threshing, Baling and Displays - Beginning Friday afternoon throughout the weekend. Be sure to check out our farm displays to see how the work was done a long time ago. You will be able to watch the work done with horses and old time machinery. Farm animals are on hand for you to see in their own shelter with stalls for each kind of animal. Threshing grain and plowing and more will be demonstrated for your interest and entertainment. This display is very educational for the young people and bound to bring back memories for the farmers and country guests.
Gas Engine Demonstrations - Beginning Friday and throughout the weekend.
Stage Entertainment - Daily programs at main stage
Garden Tractor Events - Tractor Games, including Plowing, Rodeo, Balance Platform, V.G.T.C.O.A
Loonie Draw Donations
As always, the club tries to make the show as entertaining as possible. One of the regular attractions is the "Loonie Draw". In order to offer this attraction, donations are required to be used for prizes. This year our Junior Members intend to operate a draw of their own, so children's prizes will be required.
If you have any item(s) you would like to donate for the draw please contact Sheri Dunn, our Loonie Draw Chairperson at 226-200-0388. Donations may be brought directly to Sheri, brought to the next club meeting or brought to the show grounds a few days prior to show time.
The "Loonie Draw" has raised a significant amount of money for the club over the past few years, so let us continue our good work and try to outdo last years total. Just like any of our other attractions and displays, volunteers are more than welcome!!
